For those still confused about Rebellion, it was basically Homura’s coming-out party. In the scene where she turned into her witch form, notice the darkened rainbow as her barrier background. Super gay. Also, when the universe was engulfed in her gayness, and when she turned into a demon and all of the rainbow firework-like things in the background when she was explaining shit to Kyubey. Also, her eyes in some scenes. There’s even rainbow gayness in her eyes.

So, for those who still don’t believe that Homura is gay and that her love for Madoka is nothing more than friendship love, you are oblivious. Here is the not-so-subtle proof right here. There are hints of Homura’s homusexuality /everywhere/ in this movie. You can believe that all of the other characters are straight all you want, especially since when Homura stated that “no one understands this feeling; it is only mine”, but for the love of God please accept that Homura is gay for Madoka.
